Information we collect

Information you give us. Account details such as name, company, email address, phone number, and operating authority information; the content of load and truck postings, classifieds, job listings, and forum posts; and billing information for paid memberships.

Information collected automatically. Standard web log data including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics.

How we use it

• Operating the load board, truck board, and community features
• Verifying carrier authority, safety, and insurance status
• Sending load alerts and service messages you have asked for
• Billing and account administration
• Detecting fraud and enforcing our terms
• Understanding how the site is used so we can improve it

What is visible to other members

This is a marketplace, so parts of your information are meant to be seen. Load and truck postings, classifieds, job listings, forum posts, company name, and member ratings are visible to other members and, in some cases, to the public. Do not post anything you would not want seen.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it with service providers who work on our behalf (hosting, payment processing, analytics, communications), with other companies in the BulkLoads family where your account spans them, and where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of members.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager to understand site usage. These tools set cookies and collect usage data. Consent signals are honored where applicable law requires them, and visitors in those regions are asked before analytics and advertising cookies are set.

Your choices

• Update or correct account information from your account settings
• Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message
• Turn off load alerts from your alert preferences
• Control cookies through your browser settings
• Request a copy or deletion of your personal information by contacting us — some records must be retained for legal, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes

Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as an account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes afterward. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The service is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date, and where required we will notify members directly.
